A huge thank you to both our moms for coming and helping out with the baby! We enjoyed having both of John's grandmas here to help us out when we got home. We really appreciate all the cooking and cleaning they did along with getting up with the baby during the night so we could rest. John is one lucky guy to have such awesome grandmas!

John Michael Albretsen
He is finally here!!! John Michael Albretsen was born on August 3, 2013
at 1:14pm. He was 6lbs and 20.5in long. He has a little bit of blonde hair which
was a surprise to me! He is such a good baby. He is already sleeping a 5-6 hour
block at night followed by a 3-4 hour block. He is very laid back and only fusses when
his tummy hurts or when he is really hungry. One of his favorite places to be is on the changing table.
He is always very calm and for the most part enjoys getting his diaper changed. He
then will just lay on the table content for awhile. Michael and I have loved every minute with him.
He is everything we dreamed of and more. We love our little family.
He likes laying on the floor and stretching out after he eats.
He is a long skinny baby!
Michael is one proud dad. He loves spending time with his son.
Welcome to the family John we love you lots!

Family Pictures
This year we have taken new family pictures on both sides! It has been nice to get an updated picture.
Unfortunately this week they all could become outdated :)

Summer Camping
The weekend before the reunion Michael and I took a spontaneous
camping trip. I figured it will probably be our only one of the summer since
I am now 8 months pregnant and camping will only get more uncomfortable.
We drove to a nice spot in Spanish fork canyon and enjoyed a nice
night by the campfire. I also realized this was our first time camping with just the
two of us! It was fun night spent out in nature eating hot dogs and s'mores!

Its hard to take pictures together when its just the two of you...
Good morning!
In the end baby enjoyed the trip just as much as we did!
Purcell Reunion 2013
This last Wednesday through Sunday we had the Purcell reunion. It started up at Bear
Lake where we stayed in an amazing house/cabin. We had so much fun enjoying the
great view, lots of space, and of course the theater room. Wednesday through Saturday
morning were spent there and we packed in a lot of activities. We went on a hike, played at the lake,
played games, spent time at the cabin, and of course got some famous raspberry milkshakes!
On Saturday we all traveled up to Idaho Falls where we celebrated my grandma's 90th birthday.
It was a great party and lots of people came! We then headed up to Sugar City on Sunday
to celebrate my nephew Justus receiving the Aaronic Priesthood at church.
We then had a delicious lunch at my sister's house and we all parted ways.
It was a great few days to build our relationships and spend time together.
I cant wait for the next one in 2 years!
Our Thursday morning hike in our reunion shirts!

Chillin on the beach

Watching the water games on the side. Can you tell I'm 8 months pregnant? haha
We rented a water trampoline with other fun inflatables. The blob was a favorite.
Here is Jerek getting launched.
We also did an early birthday celebration for my mom since she is
turning 60 and we were all together!
She was excited about her new Kindle Fire!
What a great week! I loved every minute of it. I just wish Mike could have been
there the whole time. Unfortunately he was not able to join us till Friday but we were glad he
could make it to part of it.
We will see everyone in 2015 for the next reunion! (and hopefully several times in between)
A week in Boise!
A few weeks ago I was able to travel to Boise to spend a week there
with my mom and family. It was great timing since Michael was
in Chicago that week for work. I spent the week sewing, helping my mom. and
spending time with family. It was a great week and we got a lot done!
Unfortunately as always I did not take a lot of pictures. Most of the time
was spent shopping and sewing. We did have some fun taking my mom out
for lunch to celebrate her anniversary and celebrating father's day with some
delicious steak!
We celebrated Hudson's 6th birthday. What a sweet cake!
After a full week all the sewing projects were complete!
We also managed to reupholster some chairs and get ready for the
reunion and my Grandma's 90th birthday party. It was a fun week!
Pictures!
Thanks to my sister-in-law Dawn I now have some pictures of Mike's graduation
