6 years!!

This is a little out of order but on November 16th Michael and I 

celebrated 6 years since our first date! who would have thought we would 

be where we are six years later. It has been an amazing six years and I wouldn't want 

to spend them with any one else :)

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we had the fun adventure of hosting dinner at our 

apartment. We were all a little nervous but it actually turned out well. We had 13 people 

total but 3 of those were kids. It was so fun to spend time with Mike's siblings and 

grandparents. We enjoyed many delicious appetizer and then had a wonderful

Thanksgiving dinner. I cooked my first turkey and it actually turned out 

pretty good! We were able to play a couple games and catch up talking. It was

a nice enjoyable day!

Trip to the Midwest

At the beginning of November Michael had to go to Chicago for a week for work. 

I thought it would be fun to make a trip out of it since we have family in the Midwest.

John and I flew out to Detroit and spent a couple days with my brother Nate and his family. 

We ate at the first Coney Island restaurant in downtown Detroit and also saw the sports stadiums and 

the temple. It was fun to finally get to see their home and spend time with their family. After a 

couple days there John and I went over to Kalamazoo where Mike's parents live. We were there for a 

couple days before Mike came over from Chicago to join us for the weekend. We had a great time going 

to the air museum, the outlets, and seeing his brothers schools. It was so fun to spend some time

with family we don't get to see very often. It was also my first time out to the Midwest. I even got 

a little taste of the tornado warnings and storms :)

3 Months!

We are a bit behind with what has been going on so we are going to try to catch up. 

On November 3rd John was 3 months! He rolled over from stomach

to back for his first time that day. At 3 months he enjoyed baths, eating, laying under

his play mat and playing, and being sung to.

25th Birthday!

This last weekend we traveled up to eastern Idaho to visit

my sister and brother. We had a fun weekend watching conference and 

hanging out with family. We also celebrated my 25th birthday!

John is 2 months!

As of October 3rd John is two months old! He is now

 9lbs 13oz and 22.75 inches long! He is growing fast and changing every day. 

John is more alert and he is smiling often. He is now interested in his toys and 

tries to reach or hit them even though he still does not have a lot of control of 

his arms. He can lift up his head when on his tummy but he does not enjoy it :) 

He is grabbing onto things and has recently began to lick everything! 

John has been such a blessing to our family and we love having him here!

2 Years!

On September 30th we celebrated our 2 year anniversary! It has been an amazing 

two years. We have had 5 jobs, 2 apartments, 2 graduations, and 1 baby! We couldn't 

be happier and we feel truly blessed.
